JGPR Academy is delighted to introduce Shannon Mulaire, our newest instructor. Shannon is eager to share her expertise with our community of police, fire, school administrators, and municipal government personnel. Shannon is the Director of Media Relations for Boston-based communications firm Nickerson. Prior to starting her current role, Shannon was an award-winning journalist. With more than two decades of experience in major media markets, both in front of and behind the camera, her news assignments took her around the world. A fluent Spanish speaker, Shannon has appeared on both English and Spanish language stations in the Dominican Republic. She also anchored live post-game shows on the field after multiple Super Bowls.
Her excellence in journalism earned her multiple honors including the Edward R. Murrow award, one of the highest acknowledgements in the field. Her career began behind the camera as a writer and producer in Fort Myers, FL. This catapulted her to becoming a main evening anchor in Boston. With so much experience she truly knows all aspects of the media industry. Shannon is thrilled to bring her wealth of knowledge regarding the media and public speaking landscape to JGPR Academy.
