Welcome Elizabeth Kalaijian! Liz started at JGPR in March 2023 as the JGPR Academy Project Manager and Media Relations Specialist.
Liz is a Top 10 Market News professional with four years of television newsroom experience at two Boston stations. She comes to JGPR from WBZ-TV where she covered major national and local breaking news stories as an Assignment Editor. Her career launched at WFXT-TV where she honed her intrapersonal skills, building lasting relationships with several government organizations and local police and fire agencies.
Liz is an Abington native. She graduated from Curry College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. In her time at Curry she was part of the Communications Scholar Program, she worked at WMLN Curry College Radio, as well as CC8 Curry College TV.
For JGPR Academy, Liz will wear many hats and help in a variety of ways, including helping to create and grow our course offerings, identifying potential new instructors, running social media, writing blog posts and much more! She’s already off to a great start!
