Matthew Kaplowitz
Matthew Kaplowitz began his intelligence career in 2003 when he was hired by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Matthew performed as an all-source analyst using all sources of intelligence, including human intelligence, open source intelligence, signals intelligence, and satellite intelligence to help the U.S. military achieve their tactical and strategic goals.
Overview
Cyberattacks have become increasingly more prevalent as technology has advanced. Attackers use different methods and have various motivations including personal, criminal, financial, or political to obtain data or cause harm to a computer, network, or device.
Over 75% of targeted cyberattacks start with an email. 53% of adults admit they don’t know how to protect themselves from cybercrime. 74% of all breaches are due in part to human error, privilege misuse, use of stolen credentials, or social engineering. The common thread is PEOPLE, and it’s something that we can control through spreading awareness and engaging in the right training.
Through this course, you will learn about common types of cyberattacks, their various impacts, and how to protect yourself and your loved ones from becoming a victim.
