This training is taught by award-winning PR practitioner and expert in Public Relations, Media Relations, Crisis Management, John Guilfoil. John is the Principal Owner of John Guilfoil Public Relations and JGPR Academy.
As a leader in education, you know that you can’t prevent most crises from happening. But, what you can control is how quickly and how effectively you communicate when a crisis occurs.
This course will provide an overview of what school leaders can do before, during, and after a crisis and how to navigate communicating a crisis with families, community members, and the media. There will also be an overview of how to handle some of the more common crises that school districts are faced with.
