CANTON — Following a highly successful launch with a series of courses taught by JGPR founder John Guilfoil, JGPR Academy held its first live course yesterday taught by one of our guest instructors.
“Improving Relations Through the Use of Social Media” was taught by Ret. Police Chief George McNeil, and was attended by students both in person and virtually.
The course covered several topics, including:
- How social media can be used as an effective communications tool
- The importance of open communication with community members
- How social media improves transparency
- How to grow a social media audience
