MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Chief Rob Reardon
Chief Reardon is an active-duty fire chief with 24 years of experience in the Fire Service. Prior to becoming a firefighter, he worked for a decade in the Boston media as an award-winning photographer for multiple major TV news stations and newspapers. He has taught social media classes nationally at conferences for both the public and private sector.
Overview
Proper social media utilization has proven to be a highly effective tool for first responder agencies when it comes to communicating and engaging directly with the community members you serve. Taught by Duxbury MA Fire Chief Rob Reardon, this course will provide you with the framework for how to build a successful social media program, teach you how to properly brand your department, and introduce ways to grow your social media audience.
