Interacting with the media is an integral responsibility for many municipal and private employees and leaders. Whether you are a public information officer for a police department or the spokesperson for a private corporation, it’s important to know how to field these inquiries, what you can and can’t say to a reporter and what the expectations are for both parties. This course will teach you not only the basics of the interaction, but how to inspire confidence and accuracy in delivering your message to the media.
