CANTON — John Guilfoil Public Relations LLC (JGPR) is proud to welcome retired public schools superintendent and longtime education leader Paul Zinni as a Senior Consultant.
Zinni comes to JGPR after retiring as Superintendent at the King Philip Regional School District where he has worked for the past five years. During a 36-year career in education, Zinni has held the positions of an elementary school teacher, special education teacher and secondary mathematics teacher. He has most recently served in administrative and leadership capacities — working for 27 years as a principal, Title I Director, Director of Pupil Services, Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent for the Avon Public Schools and then at King Philip.
At JGPR, Zinni will serve as a Senior Consultant, working to strengthen relationships with school districts and other clients served by JGPR. He will function as an indispensable peer resource for new and established educational leaders alike. Zinni will expand and enhance JGPR’s services and programs for school clients by creating new and valuable programming to serve the public education sector.
“I have known Paul for nearly a decade, and he is a leader who I have turned to countless times for guidance and advice. Zinni will also return to his roots as a classroom teacher, joining JGPR Academy as an Instructor and drawing upon his decades of knowledge and experience to lead courses on a wide range of topics.

Zinni has held numerous leadership positions in state, national and international education organizations and has been recognized with several prestigious education awards in his long and impressive career as an educator. He grew up in Somerset and is a graduate of Somerset High School. He resides in Wareham with his wife and will primarily work from the JGPR Canton office.
