October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and in this ever-changing world of technology, keeping your personal information private and safe is becoming a bigger challenge than ever before. JGPR Academy saw the need for our clients to learn more about cybersecurity and ways to keep themselves and their organizations safe from hackers.
As part of our On-Site Training offerings, we brought on Matthew Kaplowitz as an expert instructor to educate on the subject of Digital Security and Social Media Safety in school districts.
As a contractor for the CIA and Department of Homeland Security, Matthew Kaplowitz is an intelligence analyst expert that specializes in internet and social media operations security. While serving at the CIA, Kaplowitz focused on social media, how it worked, the various audiences, and the dynamics of an ever-changing social landscape, while providing research and reports that helped the senior CIA and White House leadership make national security decisions.
ON-SITE TRAINING FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS
JGPR Academy’s Digital Security and Social Media Safety workshop provides tools and strategies to stay safe while using the internet to three very important audiences: Students, Staff, and Parents.
For the School Staff and Parent workshops, participants will learn ways to help keep children safe on social media.
Our Student session provides an overview on the dangers of social media and the consequences of poor internet behavior.
Participants will walk away with practical solutions to help protect themselves from cyber attacks, as well as tried and true strategies regarding how to stay vigilant when using technology in today’s world.
