There will also be an overview of how to handle some of the more common crises that school districts are faced with.
This training provides the tools and strategies to stay safe while using the internet to three very important audiences: Students, Staff, and Parents.
This class will address the importance of proper complaint protocols and internal investigations regarding intake, delegation and proper procedures to avoid potential crisis creating incidents. Topics discussed include the importance of clear-cut policies, having assigned investigators, management of investigations and informed decisions for appropriate dispositions.
Addressing and destigmatizing issues of mindfulness and mental well-being in Law Enforcement are topics that need to be brought into the everyday conversation, now more than ever. In this course, we will highlight the sources and consequences of stress in policing and how it relates to you as an individual. This course is designed to be taken department-wide, with each member of your department taking part in the group-session workshop.
